Meet Dr. Alexia Rickard
A Chiropractor Who Understands Your Family’s Story
Dr. Alexia brings a personal understanding to every adjustment. As a child with unexplained stomach issues, she experienced how holistic chiropractic care can help when conventional approaches fall short. At 12, standing in her chiropractor’s office, she told her mother, “I’m going to do this one day.” That moment planted a seed that became her calling, even after being told she couldn’t be both a doctor and a mother—a belief she’s proven wrong.
Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Alexia worked as a massage therapist, deepening her love for hands-on healing and the connections that come from truly understanding someone’s life. She attended Parker University in Irving, Texas, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
A Different Approach to Chiropractic Care
Dr. Alexia’s practice philosophy centers on “resetting the circuit breaker.” Your brain and spinal cord control your body, and when the bones that protect them shift, they can interfere with signals between your brain and the rest of you. Dr. Alexia is certified in Activator 1 and 2 and uses diversified manual adjustments, SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique), and infant craniosacral therapy depending on your needs. She’s completed an 80-hour pediatric certificate through Pediatric Experience, holds certification in infant craniosacral therapy, and a Master’s in Functional Nutrition. She’s currently pursuing advanced bioenergetic scanning certification.
Life Beyond the Adjusting Table
When Dr. Alexia isn’t in the office, she’s immersed in raising her children. Family time—playing with her kids, being with her husband, or enjoying their volleyball game—is her priority. Her patients describe her as outgoing, friendly, and smiley, someone who makes you feel welcomed and understood.
